The Route
The ferry between Sal and Boa Vista is part of the CV Interilhas Linha Redonda circuit. There is no dedicated direct service between the two islands. Instead the connection is made via the HSC Liberdadi vessel which calls at both islands as part of its circular route through the archipelago. The ferry departs from the port of Espargos on Sal and arrives at the port of Sal Rei on Boa Vista.

The direct sailing time between Sal and Boa Vista is approximately 3 hours. However because the ferry operates as part of the Linha Redonda circuit, you may need to wait at Sal for the vessel to arrive from its previous stop.
